Table Mesa

This area is located about 20 minutes north of Phoenix and offers some challenging and fun trails.  On the west side of I17, there are several jeep trails to explore, offering a wide variety of terrain and difficulty levels.  On the flip side of the Interstate, you can jump onto Table Mesa road -- a moderately difficult road that loops around North Phoenix/Cave Creek and meets up with the road to Seven Springs.  This also happens to be the place where I had my first (and only -- knock on wood) flat on the KTM.

On Table Mesa road, you'll come across some exceptional scenery as well as an abandoned cabin and corral to explore.  The road never seems to have a lot of traffic, which is nice (and surprising) consdiering the close proximity to Phoenix.  Because I live in north Phoenix, Table Mesa and Seven Springs are two of my favorite spots to spend a few hours on the bike.

Shown below are a few images from a couple rides around the Table Mesa area.  (The shots of the DR650 were taken with
a very crappy Agfa digital, so the quality is horrid.)
